My favorite state is Utah - it's breathtaking! There's one back road (unfortunately, I forgot the number), it's 40 miles long - it took us 6 (SIX) hours to travel it - we had to stop every 10 min. to take pix. I love those canyons - we have several beautiful views that, without realizing it, we took at different trips, and it's so amazing to see how the wind and rain and other forces of nature are shaving off those stone 'statuŠµs".
There are so many beatiful & original views, I never get tired of going there and taking pictures. It truly shows you the magnifficence and power of natural forces!

I mentioned before how much we love going on trips.
For example, our last "extensive" trip was about 1.5 yrs ago - we rented a car in New York, went down thru Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama - all via back roads, Louisiana - New Orleans, down to Golf coast of Florida, then East to Florida Keys, then up to No.Carolina Outer Banks & back home.
The West Coast trip before - we flew to Las Vegas (it's cheaper), took Extra-Terrestrial Hwy, saw a flying saucer, zig-zaged North thru California to Oregon - up to Crater Lake - elevation 8000 ft!!!, then along the coast to Washington wine country, Seattle, Mount. Rainier, Mt St.Helen. It's awesome going up the moutain - the temps are in the 90's down at the sea level, then u go up & you are surrounded by snow & it's in the 30's, then you come down and it's summer again. Then we went South to Idaho, Utah - Bryce Canyon & other Nat'l Parks in the area, down to Arizona - Grand Canyon, &, finally, back to Las Vegas - great trip!
We love the back, little traveled roads, off the beaten path, away from "tourist traps" & standardized views. We camped in, or at least drove thru, all US states, except Alaska & Hawaii, but we'll get there soon too.

People are asking me to let them know when I add new images to my blog, but I do it almost daily and it's kinda repetitive and annoying (for them - I think) to keep receiving messages, saying: "Hi, I edited my blog, come, take a look", so to everyone who's following it, please, add the name to your favorites and just go there yourself when you have a chance - I promise - you'll see something new!

I'm so happy that my friends saw my work & liked it. It's the highest compliment. I will keep adding photos, so, people, keep checking it from time to time. Of course, it would be nice if you added youself to the followers & the blog to your favorites. Even nicer would be if you shared the blog with your friends - the more people see it, the more feedback I get, & it's very important, when people see your work & comment on it. But it's all up to you, I'm grateful just that you saw it.

There's my husband in one photo of Devil's Garden in Utah - keep in mind that he's 6'4"! How amazingly huge those boulders are!!!
I wrote before how much I love the canyons. Another thing I find absolutely unbelievably breathtaking is the tunnels carved in stone - I don't know how it is to the others, but to me they look absolutely amazing - I take picture of practically every single one we pass on our travels (don't worry, I won't post all of them...).
